A visit to the Managed Nature Park “Kune – Vain – Tale” with an area of 4393.2 ha is always a nice surprise. They have the common name Kune – Vain – Tale and represent tradition, history and inherit great natural values. This is the first protected area in Albania, since 1940. The ecosystem consists of a series of habitats (marine habitat, scrubland, desert, forest, underwater, riverine, agricultural land, residential areas, etc. It stands out for high biodiversity values, as a result of the variety of habitats, which include coastal alluvial forests, sand dunes, lagoons, sea, river, etc. In terms of fauna, the area contains 196 species of migratory and permanent birds, 17 species of molluscs, 59 species of crustaceans, 10 species of amphibians, 24 species of reptiles, 26 species of fish, 266 species of vascular plants, many of which are endangered. There are also endemic species.
