Divjake – Karavasta National Park is located 90 km from the capital. It is bordered by the Shkumbin river in the north, by the Divjaka hills in the east, by the Myzeqe canal and the Seman river in the south, and is washed by the Adriatic sea in the west. It is the largest non-coastal wetland complex in Albania, consisting of four lagoons (Karavasta, Godullat, Godullat e Pishë, Spiaxho) with an area of nearly 5,000 hectares. The entrance to the park is carried out via the main road that connects Divjaka with the National Park. The road divides the forest into two parts (North and South). The entrance to the park is located 1.2 km north of the center of the park and the beach.This area is well known not only for its natural beauty and biodiversity, but also for traditional economic activities and tourism. Harmony, tranquility and beauty have not yet left this miracle of Albanian nature. The main areas of the Divjakë-Karavasta National Park consist of the Karavasta Lagoon, the beds of the old Seman and Shkumbin rivers, the Terbufi and Myzeqe emissaries, agricultural reservoirs, agricultural lands, forests along the banks of the Seman and Shkumbin rivers, Mediterranean pine forest, forests and wooded areas in the hills of Divjaka, fruit trees, olive groves, vineyards and citrus trees.
