“Saint Euphemia”, is a very impressive religious object, with an attractive beauty. As soon as you enter the church, you encounter the portrait of St. Euphemia carved in the natural rock. Next to the limestone rock is also the source of abundant water, which flows into the interior and the courtyard of the church. For many believers, this water is seen as cleansing and blessing, and for years this cult object has become a place of pilgrimage. Today the church is completely restored on the old foundations. Based on its construction typology, this Church belongs to the end of the 13th century and the beginning of the 14th century, and this definition is reinforced by the construction style of the walls of the Bell Tower (today it is a ruin). The cross, located a few meters before reaching the Church, offers a wide and wonderful view of the landscape. From its location you can see the entire Drin plain of Lezha up to Mount Zefjana, Bushat, Mount Tarabosh, the castle and the city of Shkodra. To get to this Church, the road is covered both by car and on foot for anyone who wants to enjoy the nature that this area offers. The church can be visited every day and every Friday morning Mass is held, attended by many pilgrims who come from different cities and areas. And if you want to visit this church, the entrance is free for every visitor at any time of the year.
